Highlight Associated Bin Grids and vice-versa

Select Version of EA Desktop:

You can quickly visualize spatial relationships between seismic and bin grid data, improving data exploration and quality control.

To highlight associated Bin Grid features from the Seismic grid (and vice versa):

  1. Right-click on a grid row to open the context menu and select the new option:"Highlight associated bin grids or Highlight associated seismic.

    Note:

    This context menu option is only available if you have the appropriate user security enabled for showing associated Bin Grid features.

    The option is enabled only if The map is open.

  2. The selected row has associated items (e.g., the selected Seismic has at least one associated Bin Grid, or vice versa).

  3. When selected, the associated features are shown on the map in the highlighted layer (displayed in yellow/orange). This replaces any previously highlighted features.

The map view itself does not automatically zoom or reposition, so you may need to adjust the map to see the highlighted features.
