The License module uses built-in algorithms to calculate fees. The fees are based on the length, area or blocks cut from a survey for the license. The fees calculate using the price set at the seismic survey level for the particular survey.
The Fees tab of the Related Records area populates the length, area or blocks according to the cutout and the price as specified for the survey.
The Fees tab includes the option to cover the fees using a prepurchase amount, if the client has an existing prepurchase contract. A prepurchase contract must be registered to the client using the Business Associate module.
