The Contract module accommodates various project requirements with the ability to represent contract relationships. The relationship identifies a contract that is generated from another contract. The association between a parent and child contract is defined by your company workflow.
To assign a parent or child to one or more Contracts:

Select the target Contracts in the Contract Properties grid.

Right-click and select Additional Tools>Assign Parent or Assign Child.

In the new window, search for the Contract to assign as parent or child and click to select.

Click Save.
The assigned parent or child contract displays in the associated tab of Related Records.
